Why I Never Count Calories & Still Lose Weight & Gain Lean Muscle in Menopause


At 41 I started to deteriorate. Exhausted. Fat. Miserable.

At 50, I'm lean, strong, full of ridiculous energy.

In a petrie dish, all calories are the same.

A thousand calories of Coke and a thousand calories of broccoli burned in a laboratory will release the same amount of energy.  But all bets are off when you consume the Coke or the broccoli.

These foods have to be processed by your metabolism which means pass through your stomach, liver, & intestines.

Coke and broccoli trigger very different biochemical responses in the body using different hormones, neurotransmitters and immune messengers.

The Coke will spike blood sugar and insulin and disrupt neurotransmitters, leading to increased hunger and fat storage, while the thousand calories of broccoli will balance blood sugar and make you feel full, cut your appetite and increase fat burning.  

Same calories, completely different effects on your body.

This is a freaking riot...

Junk food companies teach extra credit classes to health professionals.

There’s a long list of companies and industry associations that are accredited to teach continuing education courses to registered dietitians, including General Mills, Kraft, and Pepsico. On Coca-Cola’s educational website like BeverageInstitute.org, that provides free accredited educational programs on GMOs, low-calorie sweeteners, and weight loss to “nurses, dietitians, health educators, and other health professionals.

Have you been in a hospital lately? I hope not. But if you have, take note as to how unhealthy health professionals are. In fact nurses are 55% overweight. Can you imagine?

I've had two nurses in my program and a close friend is an overnight radiology nurse. They work long and odd hours and it's hard for them to keep their metabolisms properly cared for.

So you can't look to them to fix you when they can't fix themselves.

Coca-Cola brags, that in 2014, the number of courses completed by RNs, RDs, pharmacists and other HPs exceeded 300,000, and today more than 40,000 nurses know more about the safety and benefits of low-calorie sweeteners as a direct result of these programs.  

Low calorie sweeteners are the worst! Hormone disrupting cancer causing little packets of hell.

 Some registered dieticians are now telling people it’s okay to eat Hostess cupcakes if they are in a “100 calorie” pack and to go ahead and eat at Taco Bell.

So if you think all dieticians are created equal, I have to laugh.

This mean absolutely nothing.

Don't wonder why you're fat. The entire food industry is against you. They want you addicted, and they want your money. Education is your best defense.
